Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SkyK Networks (“we”) collects through the Memoto app (net.skyk.memoto) and this website. By using Memoto you agree to this policy.

Summary

Memoto is local-first. Vehicles, service items, logs, papers, and settings live on your device by default. Signing in is optional and only enables cloud backup when that feature is turned on. We do not connect to a workshop. Receipt photos never leave the phone. There are no ads.

Data stored on your device

• Vehicle name, type, optional plate, make, model, year
• Odometer readings and estimated kilometres per day
• Service items, intervals, and reminder settings
• Service logs (date, km, optional product name, price, notes)
• Papers (kind, expiry, warn-before days)
• Optional receipt photos — local files only, never uploaded
• Settings (language, theme, reminder hour)
• Local notification schedule

When you do not sign in

Memoto does not send your vehicle data off the device. The app can use Google Firebase Remote Config to fetch non-personal feature flags (for example the free vehicle cap). That uses a standard Firebase installation identifier, not your name or vehicle list.

Optional cloud backup

If you sign in with Google or Apple (when that feature is enabled), we store the same app records under your Firebase Auth user ID in Cloud Firestore, plus the identity the sign-in provider gives us (typically an email and provider UID). Receipt photos are not uploaded. You can sign out at any time; local data stays on the device.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications only. There is no marketing push server. The app may request notification permission so reminders can fire.

Purchases

Memoto Pro is sold through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing when the store products are configured. We receive confirmation that a purchase completed and which entitlement to unlock. We do not see or store your payment card number.

Advertising

Memoto does not show ads and does not use an advertising SDK.

This website

The marketing site is static. The contact form opens your own mail app; we do not store form submissions on this server. Standard hosting logs (IP address, user agent) may be processed by the host to operate and protect the site.

Children

Memoto is not directed at children under 13.

Your choices

• Use the app fully without an account
• Turn reminders on or off
• Clear local data by uninstalling or clearing storage
• Email privacy questions to [email protected]

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.
